Deadly Intent
Published in Mass Market Paperback by Pocket Books (August, 1986)
Average review score:

Nancy has another case on her hands! When Nancy gets backstage tickets for her and her friends to meet Bent Fender, she's delighted. But minutes before the concert the lead guitarist, Barton Novak, goes missing. Now Nancy's trying to find him. She's still trying to patch things up with Ned after her last case, and her father may be involved with a suspect. Things get more serious when Bess disappears, and Nancy suspects Alan, Bess's boyfriend, of being involved with the kidnappers. Nancy's been warned to stay off the case, but she's going to find Bess and Barton, no matter what. Another classic Nancy Drew!
A terrific! book to readI think this is a great book and should be read by every mystery fan. When the rock star was found missing before the concert, Roger told Nancy that he wouldn't leave before this concert because he been waiting for it for a long time. Nancy went right on the case and the next thing she knew she was being knocked out! My favorite part was near the end when Nancy figured out where Bess, and Bart?, were being held. Of course if you want to find out where YOU'RE going to have to read the book.
It will make you think twice about the music industry. This Nancy Drew case was a trip to New York to see a rock group,Bent Fender, live in concert. On this trip Nancy takes along George, Bess and Alan (Alan is Bess boyfriend) all four are BIG fans. Some of them are more than others. Just before the gang gets to see Bent Fender perform the groups lead guitarist Barton disappears. The strangest thing is the whole reason the group is performing is because of the fundraiser Barton put together. Why would he disappear just before a charity he put together? Was it a set up? Theres only one way to find out, read this book. You will learn so many new things about the music business that you never knew before. I learned that stardom will make anyone go crazy and it will change them. I also now know that pirating is a major crime that any recording artist can commit (and eventually get caught). On the other hand I also picked up that musicians have just as hard a life as any ordinary person. It's tough being famous. At times I think they have more problems then the people I know do. It is a good book about musicians and friendships.

With Nancy Drew, it's always greatThis book ewas really good. It has some good charecters. It was also really exciting. Like when Nancy goes to investigate. That part is creepy. So, this is a good book, and totally worth buying!
the haunted carouseli thought this book was great, and that it was really fun to read. it was very mysterious and creepy, and if you like those kind of mysteries, then surely you'll love this book. what i liked about it was that it had a lot of interesting parts in it, such as: nancy chasing a thief through a haunted house in a carnival, sneaking around in a building and trying to ward off bad guys, trying to figure out a REALLY puzzling note, etc. i think that if you love mysteries, you'll like this book.

Excellent! When Bess is a finalist in a modelling contest, Nancy accompanies her to Chicago for the competition. But from day one everything goes wrong. There's a saboteur at work and it's up to Nancy to find him or her, before he succeeds in destroying the contest. The saboteur knows Nancy's hot on his trail and who knows what he'll do to stop her. Kiss and Tell
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 1999)
Average review score:

well, not badI honestly would not rate this as one of Ms.Keene's best. Fans have read better book. Well, here's the story in a nutshell. Nancy goes with Bess, to a conference sort of thing, where Esme Moore, romance novelist, releases a book. Nancy finds out that the novelist is recieving threats, and when she contacts the police, a young detective( Ned's rival!!!) Sam Fanelli shows up. Nancy kind of enjoys his company and so on and so forth. As for the plot. i never could guess who did it. It was really sensational. I had to do something totally diffent to get my mind off! I honestly feel that Nancy is taking Ned for granted!!!!!!!
AWESOME IN ROMANCE, AND MYSTERY!!!I really, really, liked this book. It intwined scandalous romance and mystery together. Nancy Drew is going to meet the hottest romance author in America, but when Esme starts to get nearer and nearer to danger, Nancy decides to help out. Suspects after suspects come and go, but the real culprit will rarely cross your mind as it. Also, Nancy and the young, handsome detective named Sam Fanelli, have sparks- no, not sparks, fire- going on between them in the romantic world. I feel so sorry for Ned.
Fantastic for N.D.'s Fans!!!I loved this book! As usual, Carolyn Keene creates a fantastic book including suspense, drama, passion and full out MYSTERY!!

The Legend of the Emerald Lady, ...Nancy Drew, Ned, and Bess are off on a tropical adventure to Sugar Moon Plantation on St Anne island. Sugar Moon Plantation is an old house from the 1800s, that Nancy and the gang have come to help turn into a stylish hotel. Lost in the Everglades a reviewI liked the Lost in the Everglades because it wasn't like the other Nancy Drews that I have read. The ending was a complete surprise!! In the book they were extremely descriptive about the Everglades so it felt as though I was there!!! Also there were so many twists and turns in the book that you had no idea what would happen next!!!! I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure and likes to be surprised!!! That's my review on Lost in the Everglades!!!
the series that keeps my eyes open even at 11:00 pmI'm a 10 year old girl, and I've just started reading the Nancy Drew series. They are exciting, and they don't ever tire me!! I like reading a lot and love mysteries. I've only read 2 or 3 but I'm still not tired from them. So far my favorite book has been Lost in the Everglades. I liked trying to figure out who was a good guy and who was a bad guy. I was a little surprised when I learned Jade was the bad guy. I'm going to keep reading them. Thanks Carolyn Keene for writing the Nancy Drew books.
